Back by popular demand! Re-issued again after almost five years, QE2 is the huge double-CD which appeared only briefly on the Head Heritage catalogue before disappearing into oblivion. Being a collaboration between Thighpaulsandra and Julian Cope, the record is crammed full of extremely beautiful sounds; achieved through the use of Mellotrons, Moogs, ARP synthesizers and large amounts of percussion. On its release in ’97, this huge album was described by Julian as "Cumulus-sized zeppelins powered by moped engines." It is fair to say that time disappears when QE2 enters the room.
